Task Views don\'t show up

While using Solution Explorer on OneWorld Xe SP17, if the task view that you choose from the dropdown list is a custom task view it brings up a blank page. We have to choose an JDE standard task view first and then switch back to the custom task view. Is there any way of getting the custom view to show up the first time?

Re: Task Views don\'t show up

I had a problem with this, and if I recall correctly it appears that this happened when the task view had characters instead of numbers.

Also setting the task default in the JDE.INI file only allowed 4 characters, otherwise it wouldn't work. We changed to a system of naming as 5500, where 00 denotes the business unit, so views are 5560, 5512, 5583, 5584 etc...

This resolved all our issues with it.

Re: Task Views don\'t show up

Stewart,

We are also having problems with Task Views. We sign on and have to select
the Task view menus each time, they aren't retained even though you tell it
to save the current settings. I think JDE has a ways to go with this. I
need to send my logs into JDE, I have a call open on this. Let me know if
you find out anything,

:)
