try 2 things. check the data dictionary for the default value and also
check the P4310 to see if that has an override set up in it.

We've been having a problem lately when entering a PO, items set up as
non-stock in the item master default with a stocking type of S in the PO.
I've checked the item master for the items after it happens and
everything's set up correctly as non-stock. Any ideas?
