Sales Order FIFO

Question...

Is anyone out there using FIFO for the P4210? If anyone is using FIFO, what
is the approximate timeframe needed to develope/implement the mod?

Any help would sincerly be appreciated!

Are you using lots ? If so then set your commitment method to 3 (by lot
expiration date) and use shelf life days to calculate a expiration date by
adding X amount of days to the date you bring the part it. This will allow
you to commit inventory in sales by FIFO.

What mod? JDE has FIFO and LIFO costing available in their Advanced Stock
Valuation module on G38.
Have you considered using that functionality? Or, as others have mentioned,
if this is physical Fifo and not just accounting Fifo, you can play with the
commitment method in the Branch Constants.
