sp17.1 and the scheduler

We are having quite a time with the scheduler since we
installed sp17.1 over 733.2. Ever time a package is
deployed the scheduler jobs will stop working and the
only way to get them started is to stop the services.
JDE is no help at this point. Has anyone else had
this problem?

Thanks
Don

What's your configuration?

We're on B733.2 SP17.1_F1 and the scheduler works fine. It's not the
greatest tool in then world but it works. If you're having problems then you
can also schedule jobs using the command line.

Don,

Just for curiosity's sake, what's you configuration (Hardware, OS, DB)? We're thinking of going to SP18.1 when it comes out, and this could be one thing to make sure works before moving it into Production. Thanks.

I'm on NT4.0 (SP6a), SQL7.0 (SP2 w/Hotfix 851). MDAC2.7
B7332, SP17.1_E1

I have the same issue. I haven't had a chance to turn on logging yet when I
do a deployment. Maybe early next week...

I have an open ticket with JDE Support on this and I'll let you know what
they have to say.

Hi there,

We found the OneWorld scheduler so good that we decided to use a third party scheduler for our AS400 (Autojob from Macro4 if i'm correct) which could do what we wanted to do. Have to say that that works great !!
