I have been using the forum quite intensively for about 6 weeks now, mainly to try and help others with their queries, but also to pick up some handy tips and learn something along the way.
I know that there are a lot of "passive" readers out there that use the forum to just pick up some advice and tips.
Most of the users would have limited time to read and digest all these posts and I believe most users are also only interested in a small area.
For OW users there are two forums available. The forum for Developers seems to be used as intended, however I find the XE forum rather frustrating to review (especially now there are some problems with the appearance as de[censored]d in the last post to the general forum), as this forum contains a very wide variety of subjects AND often includes questions that really should be posted on the development forum.
Should we maybe have a third forum? The XE forum can be used for Application type questions and business processes. The Development forum can remain as is. And a third forum can be used for technical issues and hardware issues (read CNC).
And is there a way that we can "force" users to post to the correct forum? Maybe there should be a confirmation/choice of forum whenever a new post is submitted?
Any other comments out there on how to improve?
Other than that, keep up the good work "post masters" and keep those posts coming.
