Product Packaging

I have set-up product packaging and everything seems to be ok with my Master CD. However, when I try to install it on my Deployment server as a test, the package does not show up in the ESU or ASU list in the Software Updates application. By the looks of it, the installation CD does not seem to be updating the F9670 table in the planner databases. I am sooooo close.... ;)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I am assuming you are on xe.

The first thing I would check is the the Registry on the Deployment server under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JDEdwards\OneWorldWindowsInstaller\Install.ini. The package name should appear here.
Also check that the ESU JD10371 has been loaded (or at least SAR 4465163). JD10371 is a special ESU that only affects the Planner Pathcode (so you don't need to deploy it) and is essential for installing Product Packaging CD's.
Also check the CD name is the same name as the package name.

Let me know how you get on.

Regards
Terry
