Proceiing Options

Currently we have an enhancement SAR that allows a user to be prompted for
their Report data selection, data sequencing and processing values at
run-time. The data selection and sequencing options are not saved but are
used only in the current reports generation. The problem is that if a user
changes the processing option values then these values are actually saved on
the report version even though the report version is not checked out. Does
anyone know a way to prevent the run-time processing option values from
being saved on the version? Preferably, we would like the report version to
be checked out before a user can save their processing option values.

Thanks

Colin,

You're probably going to be out of luck on this one. Unlike the data
selection and sequencing being stored in version specs, the po values are
stored in a field in the F983051 table (always on the server). The ow
engine doesn't keep a separate copy of po values for each run as far as I
know. If you figure a way around this, please post.

I agree. There is only one set of PO processing option values.
