Deployment Server - JDE

Why in JDE - Deployment server supports windows OS only?

My own personal view is that it costs too much for Oracle to migrate to Linux. But I have no hard data to back this up. I know we hear rumors now and again that a non-windows version is coming.

I'm not holding my breath.

Its primarily because development is carried out in Windows environment.
