year end esu status

From what I have been told the year end ESU is available on the download site. Since the US congress is still arguing over the "fiscal cliff", I am wondering if we should bother downloading the ESU now or wait.

For the year end ESU, isnt it usually just data? Or do year end ESU's also typically contain updates to objects?

Waiting on the government?!?! Don't make a decision based on people who can't make a decision. Apply the ESU as it is available now so you can say you did your part to your boss. If they release another one later then you just apply the ESU that will superceed it. Chances are it will be just a net change based off the one that is currently available.

ESUs are packaged object changes. There might be UDC or DD changes included as well or special instructions that have you change some data manually but I wouldn't really consider that packaged data.
