IBM security or authority using IBM EDTOBJAUT command.

Hi Jde Listers..

We have a strange problem in our setup. We are getting error "Change IBM security or authority using the IBM EDTOBJAUT command" while trying to update AB no. entry. We are working on 8.98.1.3, 8.12 and our enterprise server is on linux.
Has anybody encountered any issue like it. Please share your experience.

Check your authority on the address book F0101. It sounds like JDE might not be the owner, or that ONEWORLD doesn't have rights to the file.

I haven't seen the error, but that is what it sounds like to me.

I've seen this error a few times and it has almost never been related to security on the file leve. It is usually a row security issue or the application wasn't able to update what it needed to for some reason so it just throws this generic error out there.
