I am installing 9.1 and would appreciate help from the experts.

Following is the install sequence:
- Installed 32 bit Oracle Client
- Installed 64 bit Database (from E1 Installation), got AlterDefaultProfile error
- Installing E1 Client (stops at package selection screen)

I have checked following:
- changed ip address to hostname
- tnsping E1Local (sucessfull)

Following is the last entry from install logs:
INP:SYSTEM@E1LOCAL
INP:******
INP:show user
INP:EXIT
OUT:Enter password:

Are you following the manual/guide?

There are a number of "tweeks" that may need to be done. For example did you change the path (windows) environment variable? The oracle 32 entry needs to be to the left of (before) the Oracle 64 entry (Guide reference 4-6 (page 24)).

I remember something in the Guide about passwords, but I think that was related to uninstalling and re-installing the E1 Oracle database. There was also something about the Oracle homes for JDE, the E1Local Oracle database (64) and the Oracle client (32).

There are a number of threads on JDEList dealing with the installation and running of the E1 910 Standalone.

I am getting following error during installation:
" The selected package is not valid. Please see log c:/Program Files(X86).
Thanks in Advance.

Did you ever get this resolved? I am running into the same issue and cannot figure out how to get it to work.
Thanks
