Create WO for equipment calibration/reconfiguration

We do not have the modules required for Capacity Resource Planning or maintenance, but would like to utilize the WO system to generate a WO for equipment calibration/configuration. This WO would be used to keep track of the time it takes to calibrate/reconfigure our manufacturing work centers.

Is there a any way to do this without the maintenance module?
