Add column

List,

I need to add a column on the form W53301B in the application P53301. The
alis for data item is MCU.

Would anybody please help me do that.....

Thanx

Sure,
I am assuming you are wanting to use a data dictionary value and not a
Business view field.

Just go to the Application/Form. Click on on Grid (I assume) and go to
insert (top of page) then Data Dictionary. Find Alias and put MCU. Then
drag it to the grid. (If you are trying place the field on form (use form
instead of grid).

To move field around in Grid, Click on Field, hold Ctrl button and move with
your error keys.

This should help, Contact me direct if it doesn't.
JB

Can you give a bit more info on this question please?

1 - Do you have any OW development training or is there a developer on-site
with you?

2 - Is the column, MCU, you want to add part of the table information for
that form or is this simply a variable? Either way, there may be further
implications beyond simply adding this column to the grid...adding event
rules to somehow populate, calculate, etc. if it is a variable; possible
event rules needed for data integrity if it is part of the table; also
possible implications for the business view being used on the form if it is
part of the table.

...Like everything in OneWorld, it's both simple and difficult!
