Hi,
Our current setup is E1 9.0 on AS400 DB. Need to install BIP Enterprise with JDE. The OBIEE 11g certified databases are SQL, Oracle and IBM DB2.
Questions:
1. Can we use DB2/400 ( to my understanding its IBM DB2 on iSeries) as BI respository? The prereq to install is to run RCU to create schemas.
2. If yes, how to establish connection to the DB? I attempted to run RCU from a windows box which has Client Access installed and DS created in ODBC. But it fails to connect.
Any help is highly appreciated.
