I am hoping someone might have some insight on a very strange little problem that came about in JD Edwards a couple of days ago. There is a field in JDE alias of CRR. It's a currency conversion rate. It is on a lot of stock JDE screens/apps and is especially prominent in EDI screens. We have found that when you enter in a 0 (this is a zero) into the box and submit it to save, JDE converts it into a 7.0000000 (the data dictionary entry for CRR is a numeric with 7 decimals). We believe that this is tied directly to the fact that JDE has some crazy setting that doesn't interpret scientific notation well (ie: 0xE7) but we cannot seem to locate the issue. We looked in the tables containing all relevant information but have found no where else that this could be brought in from. Any ideas are appreciated.
