Security Server timeout after 8.98.4.5 tools release update

Hi guys,

I am upgrading tools 8.96 to 8.98.4.5 on EOne 8.12, Windows 2008 with SQL Server and WAS 7.0.

I am getting a security server timeout error when logging in through WAS. I get a similar message when building update packages on the deployment server. The security server works when I first log into my DEP812 environment. R9621 runs fine and when R9622 is supposed to start I get a timeout for the security server.

Has anybody seen this before ?

There are a few ESUs that need to be installed if you are jumping from 8.96. You definitely need a current Planner ESU, and there are 2 or 3 tools ESUs as well. Have you taken those?
 
Yes I did.

And I also solved the problem. I have several servers and my server with new tools was NOT the security server. So there was a difference in tools release between the web client and the security server.
I switched on Security with the new tools and used that one. That did the trick.
