Dynamic splitting of the sheet in excel

Hi guys,
I am trying the dynamic splitting of the sheet in excel. Using

But it seems that when I was building my template things are working fine. But when I ran this on the server the output seems to split all the sheets instead of only the one mentioned in column C (XDO_METADATA).

Did anyone experience this issue? Please help

Don't forget that at the release of JDE that you're running, only BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.1 is supported for the embedded version of BIP. The manual that you're looking at is 11.1.1, and presumably you've installed an 11g version of BI Publisher Desktop...is that right?

I don't know, but maybe this is the reason for the differences you're seeing.

To use BIP 11.1.1.5, you'll need to be on the recently released Tools Release 9.1.0.

Incidentally, the Oracle Support page on creating Excel templates (https://support.oracle.com/CSP/main/article?cmd=show&type=NOT&doctype=BULLETIN&id=1326347.1) says the following:

<font color="blue">Template Builder for Excel is only available from Oracle BI Publisher Desktop 11.1.1.5.0 onwards. BI Publisher Desktop 10.1.3.4.1 or lower version does not contain Template Builder for Excel. It only contains Template Builder for Word. Currently, Oracle BI Publisher Desktop 11.1.1.5.0 is not yet supported for EnterpriseOne Embedded BI Publisher. Customer will need to manually create the Excel template without using BI Publisher Desktop Tool.</font>

The 10g version of embedded BIP has some serious issues with excel and grouping. Only RTF will be able to produce the nested grouping properly.

Or manually update your libaries with the 10g patch that fixes the issue. (not supported and stated that you can't do that but it works just fine).
