Installing Oneworld Xe on Windows 2008

I am getting an application error when installing Oneworld Xe on windows 2008 Server.

Silly question #1: When running SETUP.EXE, are you using "Run As Administrator"?

Yes.

Are you sure, it can be installed on Windows 2008?

Yes. It does support according to JDE Oneworld Xe matrix.

Yes, it is supported, as long as you are on the right Service Pack (24.1.x). Last week, I installed ERP8 on Windows 2008 R2 to migrate the Deployment Server to new hardware. It's not XE, but it's close.
