VC 8 on Windows 2008

Hi folks,

I have a new Win 2008 (64bits) Deployment Server installation and cannot make OW understand that I have the Visual Studio 8 installed. It says it is not properly installed.
I configured the JDE.INI and to the best of my knowledge everything is configured correctly.

Is there anything differerent between Win2008 and OW and VC8 then what I am used to from Win2003 ?

Have a look at my previous post 171189 , but it was for Xe SP24 , VC 2008 on Win 2008 , but it is pretty much the same for 8.98 TR

Also check out Oracle doc - 942302.1 which is for TR 8.98
