When I am working in Object Management Workbench and click on object in my
project I get the following error message:

ERROR: Error code does not exist
CAUSE: The set error function does not perform correctly because the error
code is not in the Data Dictionary. No error will be set.
RESOLUTION: Add the Error Code in Data Dictionary or consult your Data
Dictionary Administrator.

Does anybody know what this means?

Mike,
I'm a bit green in XE yet but here is some poor tip from me:

1.) Make sure, there isn't any row or column security on your Data Dictionary tables.
2.) Open the Error Messages in Data Dictionary, making sure that you can access them.
3.) Try to guess what is the ID of the missing Error Message (e.g. debug the Object Management Worbench, it's a nice task!)
4.) After you know the ID then check the existence of it in the DD.
5.) Maybe OMW configuration is set up to send this Error Message and it is miss-spelled (this is the topic where I am really green yet, sorry).

Hi Mike,

Have you been able to solve the problem 'ERROR: Error code does not exist'.
I have a similar issue and searching for a solution.
