Here\'s a Chance to Enhance Your Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Experience?

As a member of the E1MDUG I would like to share this update from Deron Brod with all of you.

The E1 Manufacturing and Distribution User Group (E1MDUG) is looking for volunteers to be a part of its Enhancement Request group. As many of you know, during the E1MDUG annual meeting at Collaborate11, we identified (by membership vote) several enhancement requests for the group to focus its efforts on for 2011. The enhancements that were deemed to be our priority and the members who volunteered to lead the efforts are:

--Ability to change Primary Location – End users want to be able to change an item's primary location, regardless of whether current amounts have been posted into the various quantity buckets in the Item Location table (F41021).

--Stocking Type “O” Work Order Release Prohibition

--P4310 Viewing/Editing of Original Promised Delivery Date

--Item Mass Update – [Need Enhancement Request Team Leader]

--Copy Cost with Currency Conversion

--PO Advance Preferences – [Need Enhancement Request Team Leader]

--Outbound Consignment (led by Life Sciences Group)

If you would like to assist with building the case for one (or more) of the enhancements listed above, please contact Deron Brod at [email protected] he will put you in direct contact with the appropriate group leader before September 16th, 2011 to make them aware of your interest.

We are still in need of someone to take a leadership role for the Enhancement Request Teams focused on Purchase Order Advance Preferences and Item Mass Update. Unfortunately, the original leaders for these requests have needed to step aside and the E1MDUG is in need of another brave soul to take on these roles. If we do not fill these roles soon, this enhancement requests will be tabled until next year.

The expectations of an Enhancement Request Team Leader are:

1. Coordinate team interactions (calls, meetings, etc.)

2. Facilitate requirements gathering across participating member organizations

3. Ensure documentation of requirements in alignment with Business Requirements Document template/Quest Enhancement Request Tool

4. Ensure completion of documentation by the end of calendar year 2011

5. Ensure that requirements are submitted to Oracle through a service request with Oracle Support (and through product manager)

If that sounds like an opportunity that you (or you and a friend) are interested in, please email me at [email protected] or Scott Keener at [email protected].

Thank you for considering this request.
