I am seeing JavaW.exe on one of our web servers that never go below 4% CPU. We have 2 OAS 10.1.3.4.0 webservers that should be indentical. Round robin hardware distributes users. Each OAS has 6 JVM supporting around 90 users total (less than 20 per JVM). User report 'slowness' when connected to server A, but not server B.
Looking at Windows Task Manager, the CPU for A is 25%, B is 3% or less. The process list shows up to 6 javaW.exe on B that stay at 3% or more. The same list on B, has those processes appear and finish from the top of the list.
Searching here and google gives a lot of error solutions around javaw, but I can't find a reason for the processing difference. I'm obviously missing a setting between the two servers, but don't know what to look for. Is there a document or manual on tuning the JavaW in OAS?
