List,

The project that I am working on is looking to be an early adopter of Tools release 9.1. They would like to have a checklist of items to test. So..... What are your favorite items to check when testing out a new tools release?

Pertinent client data: JDE 9.0; AIX Power 7 servers; Unix OS, Oracle 11G R2. The test will be on the future prod servers not yet in production, so multi-foundation required for just the deployment server.

Here are a few of the things that come to mind that we have had issues with on more than one occasion when upgrading to new tools releases:

- If they do any kind of interoperability via xmlCallObject, I would rigorously test that. We have had issues with that in the past when we have upgraded to new tools releases. I assume that some of the underlying base code used by xmlCallObject is also used by Business Services so if they use BSSV I would test that as well.

- We have also sometimes had issues with UBEs that use the financial report writer.

- Development tools like the ER debugger have broke.

1. Vacation postponed...check.
2. Resume updated...check.
3. CYA in place...check.
4. Overcommunicate insignicant impact of TR...check.
5. List of inane responses to inane questions...check.

Ready for testing.
