Index for table is not getting generated

Hi,

I am trying to generate index for a table but the system shows me the message "Index generation failed" but in background the system generates the index for table.

Could anybody suggest me the possible reason why the system shows me the above message

release B7333 SP 26

First of all, which database do you use ?
Would you post jde.log or jdedebug.log so we can get the exact error while generating the index ?

Because i've already seen issues due to index names (especially the primary key index, with Xe trying to drop index with a name that doesn't exist, and trying to create it with another name that still exists because it was not dropped)
Something else : in your signature you say XE SP26. I'm a bit confused, as for me the latest service pack of Xe is currently SP24.1.2
Did i miss something or is it a typo ?
