Introducing Chizzy Menkiti - Project Manager for our 1st Annual H.U.G. Holiday Social Networking Event and Casino Night
We are excited to announce that one of our newest members Chizzy Menkiti has stepped up and volunteered as the new Project Manager for our 1st Annual H.U.G. Holiday Social Networking Event and Casino Night slated for December 8th, 2011.
She is very excited about this opportunity and committed to help us build the foundation of what we hope to become our most popular and longstanding event.
Our 1st Annual H.U.G. Holiday Social Networking Event and Casino Night is a totally new event for H.U.G. where all Oracle JD Edwards/PeopleSoft users and their guests are hosted to a free admission gala event in a festive holiday atmosphere featuring excellent cuisine food buffets; cash bar; casino gaming on Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and Texas Hold’em tables with professional dealers; and all while making new Oracle JD Edwards/PeopleSoft contacts and visiting various demonstrations of new hardware, software and services innovations from our Exhibitor Sponsor business partner vendors in booths encircling the circumference of the ballroom. The staff at each 10' x 10' Exhibitor Sponsor booth will also provide each visitor to their booth casino cash to use at the various casino gaming tables. And at the climax of the evening, the Exhibitor Sponsors will administer an incredible Casino Grand Prize Giveaways Raffle where you pick and choose which prizes you wish to raffle for via raffle tickets from your converted casino cash winnings.
This event is so awesome and the Houston Regional Users Group for Oracle JD Edwards and PeopleSoft Users, H.U.G. is excited to premier it here in Houston for our membership and their colleagues and guests..
Chizzy already has the foundation of her awesome Project Team put together. Logistics will be handled by our H.U.G. Meeting Coordinator Chris Arend, Sponsor Recruitment will be aided by our H.U.G. Vice President of Programming Jeremy Shearer, Financials managed by our H.U.G. Treasurer Diane Furst, and Membership/Registration Support from H.U.G. Vice President of Membership Mary Hollis. In addition, I have successfully managed this project numerous times in Southern California and as President of H.U.G.; I will work directly with her and insure that you have all of the information and resources needed to successfully manage this premier project for our organization.
We hope to confirm the location of our event in the next two weeks and Chizzy will begin distributing Exhibitor Sponsor flyers to fill the limited number that exhibitor booth spaces that will be available, assigned on a first come-first served basis for our 1st Annual H.U.G. Holiday Social Networking Event and Casino Night. In my years of experience with this event, the exhibitors sponsorships are filled really quickly so do not delay and firm your spot today.
