JDE E 9.0 Demo loading very slow

Hi folks,

I have installed JDE 9.0 Demo on windows 7 ,it is working fine but it takes a lot of time to load. there is a pop saying waiting for security server.
Any help appreciated

Hi Muzzi,

Verify the secuity server defined in your JDE.ini. If it LOCALHOST, then verify that you mentioned 127.0.0.1 localhost in your etc\hosts file.

yes, it is defined properly

I have noticed that if antivirus is installed, it impact the performance of JDE standalone.

Please tell us whats the percentage of CPU used as well as memory used by activeconsole and the DB.
