JDE and Microsoft SharePoint integration

I am researching SharePoint integration with JDE. I have been looking on-line without many results that aren't vendors trying to sell their solution for integrating. I did not find many answers here either, so I am posing it again...

Has anyone, successfully, set up a SharePoint integration with JDE? And, if so, are you willing to share your process or resources you used. Thanks.

I actually sat in a session at Collaborate they sponsored this year. I like the concept, but thought there might be others that have done the integration w/o 3rd party solutions or consultants. I may have to look at them some more.

SharePoint 2010 supports out of box integration with JDE via Business Connectivity Services feature.Using this feature you can display JDE data as lists in SharePoint.

If your requirement involves advanced interaction or workflow, you may need to develop custom webpart and workflow. Please detail what you are trying to do.

We have developed some webparts and solutions for SharePoint that integrate with JDE using BSSV, XML interop or OLEDB.

Another approach is to extend pieces of functionality directly from the JDE UI into SharePoint, which is what InFlight does: http://inflightintegration.com/product-overview/compatibility/jd-edwards/jd-edwards-sharepoint/ This is useful if you want more than just the JDE data. For example, if you wanted to dramatically improve the JDE user experience or if your organization is using SharePoint as an enterprise intranet portal platform.

Most of our customers are using SharePoint as the intranet portal and they want to be able to extend time sheets or expense entry from JDE to SharePoint without having to engage in any dev. InFlight takes 4-6 hours to install, then integrating something like time sheets from JDE into SharePoint takes about 90 seconds.
