Style Format Issue

Dears,

When we try to print any negative value in any of our invoices it is displayed as red. Now it does not really matter if the printer is not a color printer. But some of our BSA's need it to be changed.
I belive there is a style format file may be missign from the commonproject folder. Can anyone post the name of the style format file or any other way to fix it.

We are on create!form 7.0.

Thanks,
Soumen

CformDesigner projects can use many different FormatStyle files. The best thing to do would be to look at the form project and identify the piece of data that is printing negatives in red. See if that object is set to use a specific FormatStyle that is causing it to print like that.

Once you find that you can either 1) change the object to use a different FormatStyle or 2) verify that the FormatStyle referenced in the CformDesigner project is also on the CformServer.

Thanks Karen.

We currently have create!form 3.2 in production and we are in the process of upgrading to create!form 7.0.

While testing some of the invoices reports on JDE, some of the users reported that even though the master template on create!form has a defined style format to show the negative sign for currencies in the front (like -17.45 say). The user is still able to see it after the value (like 17.45-).

This behavior is however not same for few users who are indeed able to see the currency in correct format (-17.45).

On the create!form side we are handling this setup through a style format "EU Negative Numbers". We copied over this style format from the common projects folder in version 3.2.

Could it be that the copied version of style format is not supported/compatible with version 7.0.
But then how could some of the users do see the value correctly.

I have already checked with Bottomline that the user's windows settings will not override the settings in Create!form Designer, for formats.
