Where may I find info/logs about a 503 error in OAS?
I have looked in the Web managed instance logs, the OAS opmn logs, the Apache/Apache logs, and there is no indication of a 503 error, nor any error during the time frame reported. Server event logs show nothing either.
We are on E8.12, tools 8.98.0.1, OAS 10.1.3.4, U.S. based NT servers. EU users reported 503 errors from the web server early this morning, even at the login page. That should have been a lower-usage time frame.
Web service returned shortly later. No U.S. customers reported the issue, though there should have been few/no US users on at that time.
Also, any hints on what may cause a OAS web server to 503?
It is an internal-only address, so no spikes from outside sources. I have not seen 503 responses from our web server even during peak usage just after U.S. lunch time.
