When the location is created is pulls the G/L Class code to F41021 it basically does not get updated after that.
I have custom programs which refresh the informaiton weekly. I also have instances where I want a different G/L class code in F41021 for the part in question because the inventory belongs to another group. this is controled by the location name. i.e. service not sales. Thus I want it to hit a different G/L account for inventory transaction when inventory is moved or adjusted.
If you want to make life complicated, you can control the G/L class code basically any way you want before the program in question uses it to update the G/L.
