Hi,
Does anyone use the Oracle Data Masking Pack?
Specifically:
1/. Are there any JDE clients currently using this software? If so, what are they using it for, and how are they using it?
2/. If encryption is enabled using Oracle Data Masking Pack for "home address" field (or "emergency contact" or "phone", etc....) with only the HR role having the ability to see the data, how does an employee update his/her own "home address" ("emergency contact", "phone number") information in ESS?
3/. If the data is encrypted in production how is the data accessible in pre-production after a refresh? Are the decryption keys transferred along with the data to a different database instance?
4/. Do we require any specialized resources to maintain/setup the software? Or would the DBAs be able to do this? Would they need any specialized training for the software?
