Records disappearing from F986110 after UBE completes

We just installed Tools 8.98.3.4 (from 8.98.1.2) and are having a problem with our label print jobs (custom UBE R5542001T) disappearing from the F986110 table after the labels print successfully.

I found doc 761048.1 that sounds very much like our issue, but it indicates that the issue was solved in 8.98.2.1. Has anyone else had this issue? And if so how did you solve it?

We are seeing something similar. We have a custom job whose only purpose is to submit up to five other jobs. We know these secondary jobs run correctly since the end users get the printed output, but in some cases the corresponding F986110 is missing. Whether it was ever there is hard to know since these jobs take a fraction of a second to run. We haven't yet figured out why this is happening or how to fix it. The knowledge document you found is particularly interesting because it mentions using customized business function to suppress the printer selection too. We do that in this case.
