8.98 Performance

Hello there

We just installed the 8.98 tool and notice that the performance is not good, even sometimes system hangs.
Any idea?

Please check out my post # 160982, which applies to Oracle Application Server. You didn't specify what your web server is, but maybe this will help.

Our is 700, but dont know what else to look, but thanks for letting me know.

Define hang? What platform?

Below is a sample of potential causes, but the total number of potential causes is too numerous to list without knowing more about your configuration and what you mean by hanging.
* Page swapping on your Windows logic server due to insufficient memory
* Too few call object kernels and/or single threaded call object kernels.
* Garbage cleanup in the JAS JVM
* A user on JAS "scrolling to end" of a massive dataset halting other activities until it is completed.
* VM configuration challenges

Not sure if this is your issue or not. For Tools 8.97 and 8.98, we had to push registry tweaks for MaxServersPerConnection = 10. That pretty much ended processing hangs.
