LDAP and subdomains with Active directory

Is anyone using LDAP authentication and subdomains? I am running into an issue authenticating users in the subdomain through LDAP. Is there a way to do this? I know that Oracle doesn't support more than one LDAP server right now. (SAR#8358496) I am trying to find a way around this limitation. Any suggestions?

You might be able to come up with a crafty solution using Microsoft's ADAM server.

Oracle has a product called Virtual Directory.
This allows you to consolidate multiple LDAP stores into one virtual view. You then point to the Virtaul directory for your LDAP authentication.

Very fast and efficient. I have used it for SSO where we need to point to two ADs.
