JDE E1 Application In Thai Language

Hi
Interested to know if you have had any response on this or what you did in Thailand. i may need to rollout a site in Thailand and would be interested to know what is available. We run JDE 8.11

Thai is not a supported language for E1. That means that no language pack exists to present the interface in Thai.

If you only need to present Thai data on the web client and print it in UBEs take a look at this posting: http://www.jdelist.com/ubb/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=OW&Number=123938

It describes an experiment I did to enable Thai text printing for UBEs.

If you need the actual interface to be displayed in Thai you could potentially add vocabulary overrides in Thai. That would be a massive effort to translate everything. There would also be parts of the interface such as the toolbar buttons that couldn't be translated as the language translation for those components are delivered as part of the runtime engine (tool release).
