Visual Studio on Windows Server 2008

I'm looking at trying out Windows Server 2008 64 bit on our Deployment server in our 8.12 lab environment. We currently have Visual Studio 2003 for the C++ compiler. Does anyone know if that will work on Windows 2008 or do we have to upgrade to VS 2005 or 2008?

As a side question. Does anyone know if JDE has any plans to support Windows 2008 R2 in the near future? I'm hoping with 8.98.3.

I'm afraid I haven't tried VS 2003 on Windows 2008, but I can tell you that while Windows 2008 R2 is not on the MTR list yet, it does work, as my lab setup is on 64-bit Windows 2008 R2.
