Unable to create Web Sphere instance in Server Manager

Hi,

When I trying to register WebSphere 6.1 with Server Manager, I keep getting the following message:
" Unable to create remote instance
C:|WebSphere61\AppServer\properties\version\WAS.product(System can not find the file specified)"

Did anyone see this before? Any thoughts, please?.

Just in case it is the obvious - there's a typo in that path
C:|WebSphere61\ etc.

Thanks for the reply. However the path entered in SVM is the correct one. The typo is only in the post. For some reason the SVM is 'not finding' the WAS.product file. This file does exist in the spefified path and the Webserver is running just fine. Strangely the e1agent logs ( both server and console) do not show the 'warning' message. Please see the attachment for the exact error message. Any help is greatly appreaciated.
