Does anyone know if this is a good load balancer for E1?

Depends on your overall objective. We have found that just setting up Windows load balancing on our JAS servers at no additional cost and requiring no additional hardware has worked out just fine. Other installs may be more stringent on requiring more detailed load balancing where F5 or Cisco load balancers are needed.
