Apache HTTPD.CONF ThreadsPerChild setting

For those of you running OAS on Windoze, how many of you have changed the default setting in the Apache HTTPD.CONF file for ThreadsPerChild?

As usual when searching the net you get conflicting opinions but the dominant one seems to be that this setting should be slightly above the anticipated maximum number of concurrent users.

The default value is 50.

I agree and usually set it accordingly. MAX ANTICIPATED USERS....

we just completed testing that confirms this setting was set very low for a default. It acts as a throttle on all web I-O if set too low. Based on the test we did we'll probably set it to TWICE the expected max user load.
