IBM is in the process of changing the IP addresses

Information I got yesterday from our IBM rep. If you are on V5R4 or V6R1, you must have the latest cumm applied in order to find the information mentioned below.

IBM has not announced it or provided any other information in any way other than through this text file. Check to make sure ECS still works and then check it weekly because IBM tells us they are moving everyone to the new IP addresses very quickly

I learned this week that IBM is in the process of changing the IP addresses that are used by ECS over the Internet. If a client has opened firewall ports to support ECS then they probably need to review the following and make sure they have inbound and outbound filter rules supporting traffic between their trusted internal IP addresses and the listed untrusted IP addresses on the ports specified.

Unique IPs TCP Port

As of the latest V5R4 and V6R1 cumulative packages, there is a file in the IFS that documents the IP addresses and their usage. The file can be found at: /QIBM/UserData/OS400/UniversalConnection/serviceProviderIBMLocationDefinition.txt
