sql query against JDE

To answer your question, JDEList members will need you to answer these questions:

What is you database?
Do you have access to the database to run sqls?
What information are you trying to retrieve using SQLs?

It may be better to ask your DBA(s) and/or your CNC(s) about this.

There are a large number of SQLs included in JDEList for a large variety of purposes and/or infromation requirements as well as different databases (eg Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.).

Though SQL queries are generally universal, different databases have different ways of implementing them and thus the syntax of the SQL query can vary between databases.
 
And.. unlike World, you cannot run SQL inside JDE. You need to use a 3rd party client to do so.
