Hi all,

I need to change UNCS and PRRC data items from 4 to 5 display decimals, but I don´t know if this change it´s going to cause unpredictable problems in JDE.

Does anybody have experience on it?
I will appreciate your help/suggestions.

When you run a cross reference on all tables which contain those data dictionary items - do ANY of those tables have data in them ? Changing data dictionary display decimals can have serious results if you are not careful. Also, please PLEASE remember, there is ONLY usually one data dictionary - so even though you are changing DD in Development - you're actually impacting production (and, due to the way DD is cached, you might not see the changes until after a package deployment).

Talk with your CNC specialist. Be very careful about doing this. Yes, it CAN have unpredictable results if not handled correctly.

Hi Jon,

many thanks for your comments.
We are currently installing JDE, so there is no data still in any table which contais these Data Items. I think that we can test with careful.
I have also created a Case in Oracle, I´m waitin for a response but I prefer to have a second point of view.

Thank you,

Miguel Angel
