Hi List,

Need help, as I had re-install the E900 Enterprise Server, Deployment and Web Server (WebSphere 6.1 with Fix pack 9).
The Enterprise and Deployment Server is up and running and I install the Server Manager, and tried to install the HTML Web Server. However, from the Server Manager it seem the Web Server is been deploy, but from the Web Server under the WebSphere Profile I could not see the E900 Web Server Folder been installed. I had tried so many times remove and install, still not able to install the HTML Server.
Where could it be wrong, I had follow the WebSphere and Server Manager Guide. Anyone could give me any information on which Update HTML and Server Manager should I use?

Hi,

The problem is that you have an orphaned SM Agent instance.
SM "thinks" that there's an HTML Web Server installed
somewhere on your server, but there's none.
1. Delete the HTML Web Server entry from SM console
2. Delete the WAS Web Server entry from SM console
3. Uninstall SM Agent on your Web Server
4. Bounce SM services on your Deployment server
5. Check that Web instances are gone from your SM console
6. Install SM Agent on your Web Server
7. Wait a couple of minutes and check that there is an
empty home entry for your Web Server) on SM Console
8. Declare the WAS instance
9. Create the HTML Web instance (distribute software,
create j2ee, distribute jdbc drivers, create HTML server)

Hi Seb,

Thanks for the info.
I will try again.
