Barcode Issue

We have been able to get our Barcode to work in our template in preview or when we are running on the fat client but when we move the the server and run in batch mode the Barcode does not work. We are running in a Unix environment using the Oracle database. We have setup the xdo.cfg file on the Enterprise Server and loaded the font. I set the properties in the format of the template to the file location and name but we are still not able to get the Barcode to print in batch from the server. What am I missing for the setup in order to get the Barcode to work?

Isn't there a custom java program provided by the bar code font vendor that you need to include in a jar file somewhere? I haven't worked with bar coding and BI Publisher but I thought that's what someone told me once.

I need to get the Java Handler but I am unable to get it with the code I have. WOuld you know of a Barcode vendor who would have a Java Handler for Barcode 3 of 9?
