Login cycle with security server

Hi all

I search some detailled information about the core login procedure in an JD Edwards OW B7333 SP23 Rev. 0 after open the "Sign on window".

For me looks like the following steps:
- who is my securityserver (jde.ini)
- is the securityserver available? (only pingrequest??)
- whats happen when the securityserver is running but not the related JD service?
- what do the securityserver?
- .... and so far
