Hello List,

There is an issue where the scheduler stops working every morning at 5:00 am. It is then restarted again to start Functioning. Can anyone tell the reason why it happens?

Thanks in advance.

Release: E812- JD Edwards EOne

WorldJDE,

What is in the log?

If it is stopping regularly each day at 5am, what is happening on the host server/enterprise server a 5am each day? Is there a job on the scheduler that runs each day at 5am?

Hello,

We are experiencing a similar issue, except our scheduler seems to stop at random.

I have not found anything in the logs, but SAW did report the scheduler kernel as zombied.

Our JDE.ini shows the scheduler kernel as numberOfAutoStartProcesses=1

Can we safely increase this to re-start it when it stops? Or will increasing it only open more than one kernel?

We are running JDE EnterpriseOne e8.10, Tools Release 8.97 with SQLServer on the NT platform.

Hi Eric,
we had a similar issue a while back. Our issue came down to the version of the oracle client installed on our servers, since we're running an older version of JDE which didn't fully support the later client. I see you're on a later version of JDE than we were, and you're SQL Server, so that may be unrelated. Did you make any changes to your environment around the time the issues began; a change to the architecture, different backup procedures, replacing servers, etc?
Kind regards,
JB
