Using the Work Center as an E-Mail client

Hi List,

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the OneWorld work center to
pick up 'external E-Mail'. I.e. to use OneWorld as the main desktop
utility - including the internal JDE mail sent to and from the work
center, but to also pick up and send E-Mails from an Exchange server or
POP3 mail server ?

Thanks

You can use Work Center to read Lotus or Outlook/MS Exchange messages if you
have a valid local profile. This is mainly for convenience so the user does
not have to actually launch their mail program to read their external mail -
they just do it through Work Center. I've configured this the opposite way,
all mail goes to Outlook including JDE Workflow and System messages.

POP3 mail can also be read by the Work Center providing that this mail comes
from Outlook/Exchange or Lotus Notes.

Let me know if you need more details.

Does it mean that all OW messages from Work Center are being transfered to
the Exchange server and no longer exist in the Work Center (we do need to
maintain it here) ?
