812 Platform pack error - URGENT

Anybody seen this error, I am kicking off the 812 platform pack install cd on linux server and I get this error, any help is highly appreciated please advice

Message is pretty clear, you have to be root to install
Platform Pack on a Linux box.

Yes thats what I was thinking but in the previous releases I always used to install the software with the jde user. Let me give it a try probably they changed in 812

well sebastian you were absolutely right, loggin in as root installed the platform pack perfectly. Looks like they changed it in 812 as for 810 i always logged in as psft810 (jde user). thanks for all the help. I appreciate that
