I am planning to for Archival; we have chosen to run the standard JDE Archive/Purge Programs.
As we have around 700GB Of data in Production Environment I am planning to move the historical data to a New database Server
My questions are
1)Does the Standard JDE Purge Programs work if I have an JDE Archive Environment on a New Data base & Server(i.e. My production Data base is on “Server A” and My Would be Archive Database would be in “Server 2”)
2) Any Precautions Needs to be considered, i.e Limitations, Disadvantages etc….
Any Help would be Greatly Appreciated
