EnterpriseOne 8.0 & i5 V6R1

Within the next 6 months my company will be acquiring a new i5. Most likely it will be running the V6R1 operating system. We are currently running E1 8.0. Since this release is supported through 2013, I've been trying to hold off upgrading until E1 9.0 is available. Does anyone know if E1 8.0 will be supported on V6R1?

Hi Keith -

Yes it is. FYI, we all participate in an early release program with IBM allowing us lead time to prepare our products before the upgrades are GA.

Thank you Jen. Can you confirm that Oracle has announced that E1 8.0 is certified for V6R1?

I know there was a glitch and I heard it was resolved. I will check into it for you.

The project required to support V6R1 is well underway, but we cannot provide an exact date for our support of V6R1. Suffice it to say we expect to support it with SP24 for ERP8 / Xe.
